Michelle takes on the Barns Green Half Marathon
A year after her first half marathon, Michelle ran the Barns Green Half Marathon on 24 September 2023 and raised £1,089.20 for the Trust.
On 24 September 2023, Michelle Craen took on the Barns Green Half Marathon in West Sussex for the What Would Mia Do Trust, a year after her first half marathon in Battersea Park.
Writing on her fundraising page, Michelle said: "Mia would be proud of me as she knew running wasn't something I excelled at!!" Her motivation, she said, was "doing this for Mia and knowing the money raised is going to a great cause."
Thirty-seven supporters sponsored her, raising £1,089.20, plus Gift Aid.
Every pound helps a young person aged 5 to 18 take part in sport, whatever their family's finances. Thank you, Michelle, and everyone who cheered her on.
